Growers can use TerrAvion imagery to identify fertility issues in their fields and to make targeted variable rate fertilizer applications. In this example, the grower identified a low vigor area in the June 27 imagery, which alerted him to a nitrogen deficiency. Having quantified the nitrogen-deficient areas, the grower decided to make a variable rate nitrogen application, targeting the deficient areas with a higher rate. The September 11 imagery shows that the nitrogen application was successful in creating uniform growth throughout the field two and a half months later.
Use TerrAvion aerial imagery to identify low vigor zones, which may be caused by fertility problems. Take corrective action to avoid potential yield losses before it is too late.
