TerrAvion provides versatile integration with a variety of softwares including Trimble, formerly known as Farm Works. Trimble only accept the .tfw file type, a common file type among GIS (Geographical Information System) softwares. TerrAvion recommends QGIS, a popular general purpose GIS software, to convert your TerrAvion GeoTiff files. You can find the tutorial here.
Once you open Trimble, Create New Project, and click OK.
Next, accept US-English measurement system, and click OK
In the Trimble platform, click the New Client button on the toolbar. Fill out the information and click OK.
Click the New Farm button on the toolbar. Name the Farm and select the appropriate Client Name for which the farm will be filed under. Click OK.
Click the New Field button on the toolbar. Name the Field, and select the appropriate Client and Farm for which the Field will be filed under. Click OK.
In the index to the left, right click on the Field Name and click Import Background.
Select the .tfw file for each layer of your field. Click here for more information on how to convert a TerrAvion GeoTiff file into a .tfw file using QGIS.
Once each layer file is uploaded, double click on each file to populate the layers in the layer display window at the bottom of the screen, indicated in the image below.
Click the Background Imagery toggle to turn on background imagery.
In the layer display, use the arrows to move the layer you wish to view to the top of the list.
This is how you can import TerrAvion file types into Trimble.
