How to Create a Tank Mixture in MyJohnDeere

Overview

The Tank Mix tool allows users to create tank mixes in Operations Center. After a tank mix is created, it can be sent to a machine out in the field by using the Setup Builder.

Create a tank mix

To create a new tank mix:

1. Select Product Manager and ensure that Products is checked

2. Note: A brand new tank mix can be added by checking the Tank Mixes in the drop down box.

3. Check products that are going to be in the tank mix and select the 'Generate Tank Mix' box, which
brings up the tank mix window.

4. Note: At least one chemical and one carrier are required to create a tank mix.

5. 'Start from an existing tank mix' box can be left blank for a brand new tank mix.

6. Enter the rate at which you want to apply the tank mix and select the rate units for Overall
Solution Rate.

7. 'Select Products' box allows user to select up to five products for their tank mix.

8. Select 'Save' and then assign rates and units to individual chemicals.

9. Enter a carrier in the tank mix.

10. Note: Default carrier is water.

11. Define the tank volume and rate units, then area to work and its rate units.

12. Select 'Next'.

13. Enter a name for the tank mix.

14. Note: Tank mix name is required. A tank mix name has to be less than 20 characters, otherwise
it is truncated.

15. Select target crops, if applicable.

16. Select 'Save'.

Edit a tank mix

To edit a tank mix:

1. Select Product Manager and select Tank Mixes.

2. Select a tank mix you wish to make changes to and select 'Edit'.

3. Select 'Save' when finished.

Tank mix calculator

Tank mix calculator is used to calculate how much of each product can be added to the tank and the rates for the tank mix. The tank size and rates are based on the information provided by the user. Also, it is able to calculate the amount of area each tank is going to cover and how many tanks are required for an application.

Tank mix calculator can be accessed while creating a new tank mix or viewing a previously created tank mix.

Export to CSV

To export one or multiple tank mixes to CSV:

1. Select Tank Mixes in the drop down box.

2. Check all the tank mixes you wish to export and select 'Export To CSV'.

Archive Tank Mix

The archive function allows user to move the tank mix from the Available page to Archived page.

1. Select Tank Mixes in the drop down box.

2. Ensure available tank mixes are displayed.

3. Check one or multiple tank mixes you wish to archive and select 'Archive'.

4. Note: To view all the archived tank mixes select Archive tab. If a tank mix was archived by
mistake it can be moved back to available tank mix list. Select the desired tank mix name under
archived tab and select 'Make Available'.
